A digital video is a great way to get students interested in a book or even show them how to do something. My video is a book trailer for Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. I want my 3rd grade students to really want to read the book after seeing all the pictures and hearing a bit about each video piece. I used VoiceThread since I wanted to also teach a lesson on how a person's tone can influence others to be excited about reading a book. The pictures chosen represent the various important parts to the story but yet allow my students to have a basic idea of what the book is about without giving them too many details.
