As technology progresses, so does education. We, as teachers, are the ones that will be introducing new topics and ideas to our students. Sometimes it is the teacher that must also embrace new learning. Through the use of students bringing their own technology to class it allows for a new way of teaching. Gone are the old days of only using textbooks. We are now in a time when students are so tech savvy they can use it to their benefit in their education. Teachers must also be willing to adapt to this new technology idea and allow for students to explore using different methods to learning: Ipads, Kindles, Smartphones, etc... What better way for students to learn and also have updated information than for them to use their own devices they have with them almost all the time.
