I had no clue what I was doing when I started the WebQuest on habitats. I must admit it turned out to be a great opportunity for me to learn something to benefit my own students. We are now integrating science into other areas of the curriculum and this WebQuest is one way I can allow my students to work together in small groups and discover exciting information on their own and come up with a final project to present to the class. With one project I am allowing my students the opportunity to explore new ways of learning outside of a textbook and other books I borrow from the library. I feel this new concept will allow my students the best opportunity for learning about habitats instead of just looking at a book and reading material. This time they are doing the research and coming up with their own creative project from what they discovered on their learning quest. What could be more fun for kids than to discover new ideas through technology!
